Kinos 10 - Dreams.

The Kinos10 short film festival will take place in Lahti, Finland March 26-28, 2010. As in the previous six festivals the programme consists of low budget videos taking turns with professional productions.

Kinos wants you!

We now invite you to participate in the festival programme with your own piece of work. We accept fiction, documentary, animation, music videos, experimental films, video art or so on, regardless of the topic. Even the snottiest films are welcome. The concept and the idea matter, not the size or quality of the production.

Part of this year’s programme is a theme series Dreams. We are interested in your dreams and fantasies. Maybe you have a dream like the great American opinion leader had back in the 1960's? Do you dream of a better world? Dreams can also turn into nightmares. We hope that at least some dreams will come true. Are your dreams black and white or in colour? Tell us what your dreams are made of!

The submitted work is to arrive by January 29th 2010. The recommended formats of the work are dv, dvd, 16mm or 35mm film. We will also try to present other formats, if necessary.

The Kinos crew will select which films will be screened in the festival. The programme will be published on the Kinos website by March 12th.
